1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Roadmapify ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Roadmapify is operated by Bahareh, located at Kieler Straße, Hamburg, Germany ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

Roadmapify is an AI-powered learning roadmap platform that helps users create personalized learning plans, track progress, and receive AI coaching. The Service is available in two tiers:

• Free: 1 roadmap, progress tracking, daily focus step.
• Pro ($9/month): Unlimited roadmaps, AI coaching, adaptive replanning, weekly reviews, and resource curation.

3. Account Registration

To use Roadmapify, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in Settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: We offer a 7-day refund policy for new Pro subscriptions. Contact us at support@roadmapify.xyz within 7 days of your first charge.
• Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price changes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Share your account credentials with others or resell access to the Service
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
• Attempt to circumvent the free tier limits through technical means
• Use the AI features to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content

6. AI-Generated Content

Roadmapify uses AI to generate roadmaps, coaching responses, and resource recommendations. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date
• You should verify important information independently before acting on it
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content
• AI coaching is not a substitute for professional career advice

7. Intellectual Property

The Roadmapify platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us. You retain ownership of the content you provide (goals, CV text, etc.).

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

AI-generated roadmaps and content produced by the Service are provided for your personal use. You may not resell or redistribute them commercially.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roadmapify and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hamburg, Germany.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
